ACI Reports announces increase in TM44 capacity
In the past 3 months of 2015 ACI Reports has seen its busiest period yet, with more Government, Retail and Commercial clients placing orders and TM44 renewals from 5 years ago, when ACI were undertaking their early TM44 reports.
In recent weeks we have had energy assessors undertaking TM44 surveys in such far-flung places as Guernsey, Jersey, The Scilly Isles, the Isle of Man, the Highlands of Scotland (including not only Inverness and Aberdeen but also Islands of Scotland). We have even had enquiries for portfolios of properties throughout mainland Europe, based on the UK TM44 Regulations.
Importantly, TM44 Training has been going on throughout this period and ACI Reports are rolling out additional capacity of air conditioning assessors who “go live” in January 2016, strategically placed throughout the UK.
This TM44 training programme will continue in 2016 with a focus on London and the South Coast. We train assessors for our own work as ACI Reports are not a training company, but we have the key skills to put our own approved courses together.
ACI Reports are passionate about the training of not only new air conditioning assessors, all to level 4, but also continued professional development for our existing TM44 Assessors. This is essential for accurate, detailed, independent reporting.
Being independent (in other words with no conflict of interest) is a requirement of the EPBD Regulations, and is the reason why many companies come to us – their M&E Contractors have a conflict of interest. We often work for M&E Contractors undertaking their reports, this “third party” arrangement adequately dealing with independence in TM44 Reporting.
We believe that 2016 will see increased numbers of TM44 reports being lodged on Landmark due to renewals, awareness, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, F Gas Regulations, Ozone Regulations and ESOS. Climate change has once again raised itself on the political agenda.
